Seaside Sunshine and Family

Imagine the brightness, brilliance of the goldeness near the end of a rainbow. In a place far, far away ( not Kansas, Dorothy), I met an exceptional group of followers of Jesus whose light shines so bright as to hug ones spirit and warm ones heart to overflowing. Loving, warm, overflowing with joy, caring, a unity of love and purpose. Focused on living for and being Christ-like. I felt a part of you. To Mike and to you all at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church I dedicate this poem.

Us
We are and were there
Us
is what makes a difference, we care
Together
No matter how far, we are
Us
Jesus' bride
Us
We are truly alive
Shining
like a city on a hill
Us
Doing our Father's will
Us
