Someday Seaside

When we visit by the sea, I have a daydream fantasy.., about what it would be like to live there again.

someday a seaside home

someday just pictures of snow

someday sunsets and star filled skies

walking hand in hand

you and i

in the early morning sun

with our tail wagging friends

nothing urgent to do

just being with you

Wings Of The Dawn

My new book of poems, "Wings of the Dawn", is finally finished and a copy has been sent to the Library of Congress. It has poems about the seaside & poems from a psalmists heart. Here is a favorite inspired during vacation last year in Seattle, while trying to find the right street to line up for the car ferry. "Lost in Paradise". But, it's also about living in a beautiful place in the world and being somewhat blind to the invisible, eternal world around us.

Lost in paradise
Turning left
or turning right
Up or down
Where's the lost and found?

Wrong or right,
Dark or light,
Driving yourself crazy
Is there more to life
than meets the eyes?
Lost in paradise?

Sail Away

I wish that we could sail away

to sunny shores and play all day

and never worry 'bout no thing

just laugh and love and and smile and sing
